Threat's Bum Angel

Threat's Bum Angel
$3,500

Registries: TWHBEA, KMSHA, RHBAA
Date Foaled: 1998 Sex: mare
Color: black tobiano Genotype: E- aa NTo
Height: 15.1 Price: $3,500 UCC

Oreo is a lovely smooth gaited tobiano mare who is trail safe for just about anyone (provided they don't mind some "get up and go.") She crosses water and bridges; trailers like a lady; doesn't mind geese, deer or dogs; loves people; goes out alone or in company. Her stamina is amazing - like an endurance horse. She is not "mareish", but doesn't take any flack, either. In short, she's the perfect mare. Oreo has a lovely running walk; a smooth, fast rack; and a fantastic canter. Oreo's build is terrific. She is well proportioned and stocky without being coarse. She has wonderful bone and muscle. Her head is beautiful and refined. She is an easy keeper. Oreo even managed to convert Nathaniel into a spotted horse fan. He was dead set against spotted horses until I talked him into riding Oreo when we went to ride the Manassas Battlefield on November 14th, 2010. One ride was all it took for Oreo to steal his heart. She proved she was worth her (considerable) weight in gold by plunging into murky, deep water (and proving to two 2nd time out "babies" we had with us that deep water was "no big deal"); calmly negotiated some seriously busy roads (if you've ever been to Northern Virginia, you know what I mean); and gave Nathaniel 110% the entire ride. She has been bred to Midas for a 2012 buckskin or palomino *hopefully* tobiano.

This stunning mare has it all: beauty, natural talent, disposition, height (16 hands) and the beautiful true roan color to top it all off. Riding Babydoll is one of those lifetime experiences that you just can't miss. She has a show-stopping way of going: she picks her legs up, reaches waaay out and just glides along. She loves what she does and it shows. It is rare to find a horse with such natural talent. Her awesome way of going earned her TWO World Champion titles at the 2003 RHBAA National Celebration: Ladies Country Pleasure and Youth Country Pleasure. Foaled a buckskin filly by Golden Gambler on 3/18/2011, filly is priced separately. She will be weaned in September. She is bred back to Gambler's Midas Touch WF for a guaranteed palomino or buckskin foal in 2012.

Gambler's Pixie Dust WF

Gambler's Pixie Dust WF
$1,800

Registries: TWHBEA
Date Foaled: 2008 Sex: mare
Color: bay Genotype: Ee A-
Height: 14.2 Price: $1,800 UCC
Sire: Golden Gambler Dam: Ebony's Mark of Royalty
Contact: Pam Location: North Carolina

‎"Pixie" is the first second generation foal born at Westwood Farms. Her dam is Hope (Ebony's Mark of Royalty), one of our best riding mares and the most requested lesson horse. Both of her parents possess loving dispositions, beauty, natural gaits and a true love for exploring the trails. This filly is going to be something special. She already demonstrates a very natural gait and a very keen mind.
We ponied Pixie from her sire as a suckling. She loved hitting the trail with us, and didn't even look back at her dam. She isn't afraid of cows, creeks, mud or anything else you'd find on the trail. Pixie takes after her dam in that she will be short in stature, but muscular and well-built. She is about 14.2h.

Pixie's pedigree on both sides is excellent. Her dam is the last foal ever produced by Ebony's Mark of Gold (a palomino son of Ebony Masterpiece and out of a daughter of Midnight Mack K.) This makes our Eb's Sunbeam her "Auntie." Pixie's grand-dam, Ivory's Cinderella is by Royal Ivory and out of a Pride's Boss Man daughter. Ivory's Cinderella is also the dam of Gambling on Faith WF and Gambler's Golden Prince WF.
