Gambler's Midas Touch WF
We are calling him "Midas" since is a genetic goldmine (literally!) The results are in from UC Davis! Midas is homozygous for the agouti (and cream). He will only produce palominos and buckskins when bred to black, bay, or chestnut mares! Midas has exhibited a head-nodding, 4 beat running walk since day one. He also has a true 3-beat canter. When he plays, he looks like a little reigning horse - spinning, sliding, and cantering around. His dam is one of our most "fun" mamas - she takes him out every afternoon and plays with him. He has so much character for one so young! Because of a puncture wound he received to his right rear leg, we've had to medicate him. He didn't mind the oral antibiotics at all (especially when flavored with yogurt, he fairly sucked it off the spoon then!)...but he didn't like the injections one bit. Luckily, his natural curiosity keeps him coming back for more. Through his dam, Winning Touch, he carries the blood of The Touch, Ebony's Senator, Ebony Masterpiece, Another Grey John, Sun's Delight D. and Pride's Generator. Through his sire, Golden Gambler, he carries the blood of Roy Rogers' Trigger Jr (Allen's Gold Zephyr), the great show horse known as Hill's Perfection, as well as the well-known greats Ebony Masterpiece, Sun's Delight D., Merry Go Boy, Mack K's Handshaker and Triple Threat.

perfect perlino colt is the product of two phenomenal horses. Both of his
parents are tremendously athletic, supremely intelligent, naturally smooth
gaited, people-pleasing and just all around wonderful horses. He is
EXACTLY what we had hoped to get - a perlino colt to keep as a possible
stallion prospect.
