Bonnie is possibly the most personable filly ever to walk the earth. She LOVES people and attention - she can't get enough of either. She is incredibly intelligent and loves to please. For example, when Bonnie was 2 months old, I decided to clip her bridle path again to give her more experience with the clippers. She was so good about it that I ended up clipping her entire face...then her neck...then her entire body. I didn't even have to tie her. She was thrilled to stand perfectly still while I fussed over her. Bonnie still adores attention.

Bonnie is the last foal by the great mare, I'm Liquid Gold. She has a lovely flatwalk and a wonderful fast rack. She also shows the potential for a wonderful canter, but we haven't been pushing her too hard.

"Bonnie" does very good on trails. She will ride out alone or with others. She prefers riding up front, but will ride in any position. She has enough front end and shoulder movement that she walks faster than some. She is not a spooky horse but is young and hasn't seen everything. IF she is to spook it usually is in place no leaping, bucking, rearing or spinning away. Once told "ok" or "good girl" she continues on and usually will want to look at what scared her a little closer. She has been ridden in the mountains, in the median of a four lane highway, gone swimming in the river and climbed hillsides. We took her to a field trial once (when she was 3 1/2) and rode in the gallery. She was nervous so she didn't do her best gait, but she did very well with the new experience and kept up with the others. You can turn her into thick brush and she will navigate through it. She'll slide down banks on her rear end. If you ask her to do it, she will give it her all.

She loads perfectly and will back off a standard trailer or ramp. She will turn and walk then jump out. She has never panicked in the trailer is very calm and stays in place . She has good manners. She has been loaded in a straight load but most of her time on the highway has been in a slant load.

Our vet is Dr. Mary Rogers. She is an equine vet only she also lives in the equestrian community we live in . Bonnie just had her fall shots on 11/21/11. We keep her teeth floated. They just checked and are still good. We'll check again in the spring. Fecal was good no worms. Current negative coggins.  She is fed top of the line complete feeds and forages . Red Hills Equine has cared for her since we got her home and has all her records.

She has great hooves and is trimmed every 4-6 weeks. She can go barefoot but we have her front shod at the moment as we are working towards showing her in the spring and asking for a little more animation to compete with in the event she isn't sold. She has never been sored or mistreated. The two trainers who worked her are sound natural trainers with references (Scott MacGreggor and Joe London.)
