 Standing
a full 16.1 hands, "CiCi" really stood out in the crowd. The
big, black beauty was a favorite with everyone who came to the farm.
Cici had the refined beauty
typical of Pride's Genius horses - she had a gorgeous baby-doll head with
large doe eyes, an almost dished face, and keen ears. She had excellent
conformation and great bone and substance. She had great flat walk, and an
awesome running walk with a wonderful backend and head nod - barefoot!
She was truly a "plantation style" walking horse.
Cici was more than just
beauty and style - Cici had the most loving disposition. She was so trusting and affectionate. Cici also had intelligence
galore and a
willingness to please.
We lost Cici in 2007. Unfortunately, she
didn't leave behind any foals to carry on her legacy, but she will forever
be in our hearts.
